Boot Museum

Real boots, with their stories.

A growing collection of custom, rare, vintage, and well-loved pairs — each one linked to its maker and leather, and open to submissions from collectors.

What we're looking for

Custom-made

Pieces made specifically for you by a bootmaker — especially anything with a maker we can name.

Rare & vintage

Hard-to-find pairs: a discontinued brand, an old-stock find, or boots from a shop that no longer operates.

Well-loved

Boots that have earned their wear — worn for decades, through a career, or passed down — with a story worth telling.

How to submit a pair

Fill out our short submission form and attach a few photos. Phone photos are perfect — we'd rather see the real thing than a studio shot. Here's what helps most:

A grid of forty-five pairs of cowboy boots in every color and style, photographed against plain backgrounds
Phone photos are perfect. A plain wall or floor works just fine.

Ready? The form takes a few minutes, and photos up to 10 MB each upload right along with it.
