A Boot Collector Feature
A woven red star and a promise of “Custom Hand Made Boots” — and, so far, no paper trail behind them.
This label is known to us from a pair of boots. The woven pull label shows a red star outlined in blue beside “Lone Star Boot Co.” in red script, over “Custom Hand Made Boots.” The style of the label points to an older pair, but we haven’t found where or when the company worked.
“Lone Star” is one of the most common names in Western goods, so it’s worth being careful. Other boots marked “Lone Star,” including 1980s European fashion boots, are not necessarily connected to this label.
