A Boot Collector Feature
A Mexican-made Western boot label with a woven gold-on-black pull label, a grazing-steer box, and a slogan that says it all: “Whatever you do, do it in your boots.”
Longhorn boots carry a woven pull label with “Longhorn” in gold capitals over “Hand Crafted in Mexico” in script, on a black ground. They came in a black box printed in tan with a grazing longhorn steer, the brand name in large capitals between two rules, and the script slogan “Whatever you do, do it in your boots — Longhorn Boots.” Pairs still turn up for sale, sometimes new in the box, usually listed simply as Longhorn cowboy boots handcrafted in Mexico.
“Longhorn” has been a popular name in the Western trade, so it's worth keeping separate labels apart. Justin, for example, filed a “Longhorn Brand” trademark for boots and shoes in 1984 that was later abandoned. We haven't found anything that ties that filing to these Mexican-made boots.

Pairs from smaller, custom, or long-closed makers rarely come up for sale, so this search may not find anything. It’s worth checking back now and then.
