A Boot Collector Feature
Before founding his own Houston shop, Zephan Parker and his family crossed Texas apprenticing under Jass Boot Shop and Wheeler Boot Company.
Zephan Parker founded his bootmaking business, originally called Parker Boot Company, on a stated philosophy of resilience, freedom, and individuality — a mission framed around honoring handmade Western boot artistry rather than reinventing it. Before striking out on his own, Zephan and his family traveled across Texas apprenticing under established names in the trade, including Jass Boot Shop and Houston's Wheeler Boot Company, formative years that shaped his respect for traditional technique. His workshop operates out of Houston today.
Handmade Western boots built one client at a time, bespoke and made to order, alongside a growing line of leather goods — belts, bags, and wallets — made to the same standard. The brand leans on its apprenticeship pedigree, tracing its technique straight back to two well-established Texas bootmaking shops.

Pairs from smaller, custom, or long-closed makers rarely come up for sale, so this search may not find anything. It’s worth checking back now and then.
